Coordinates or complex numbers may be regarded as quotients of a vector divided by a basis vector. This paper employs vector quotients to interpret the geometric meaning of complex numbers and transformed complex expressions for fundamental theorems in trigonometry. It demonstrates thatdifferent algebraic transformations admit distinct geometric interpretations, and the resulting conclusions are coordinate-independent.
