The Nature of AI and Human Cognition:A Structural Definition of Artificial Intelligence

Authors: Saburou Saitoh

This paper proposes a structural definition of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the externalization of human mental structures. Moving beyond the conventional view of AI as a tool or machine, we analyze AI through three fundamental processes: reflection, amplification, and co-creation. This framework establishes AI as a structural phenomenon arising from human inquiry.
